MUSEUM SHIP

H M S BELFAST
COMMISSIONED IN 1939, IT SAW ACTION IN WWII AND THE KOREAN WAR. AT THE TIME, IT WAS THE LARGEST AND MOST POWERFUL CRUISER IN THE ROYAL NAVY. IT IS NOW PERMANENTLY MOORED IN LONDON AS A MUSEUM SHIP.

  1. We in Iowa are helping to restore the USS Iowa ship. It is going to take so much money. It is such a nice way to save a ship and have a museum.

    We should preserve our history. Too often we think of preserving something when it is too late.
