NEWPORT TRANSPORTER BRIDGE

THIS TRANSPORTER BRIDGE IN NEWPORT, SOUTH WALES, WAS BUILT IN 1906 AND SPANS THE RIVER USK IN NEWPORT. THERE ARE ONLY 8 REMAINING BRIDGES LIKE THIS WORLDWIDE, 3 IN THE UK. THE BRIDGE WAS USED IN THE 1959 MOVIE TIGER BAY.
