Is that a barn owl?
ReplyDeleteLovely close up of this incredible bird.My husbands aunt rescued an injured barn owl, some years ago and nursed it back to health. When she released it,near to where she found it,it flew back to he house and roosted in her shed.If she left her door open the bird came in and settled on the back of her chair,it stayed free, but chose to stay with her for a couple of years before it disappeared.
ReplyDeleteHello Kay
ReplyDeleteWell spotted, yes it is a Barn Owl.
Hello Matron
ReplyDeleteLovely story. A niece of mine had a similar experience with an injured pigeon which she rescued.
