ST MARY'S PRIORY CHURCH ABERGAVENNY, WALES.
IT IS UNIQUE, AS IT IS THE ONLY KNOWN WOODEN JESSE IN THE UK AND PROBABLY THE WORLD.

Oh dear, I'm ashamed to say that I had to look on Wikipedia to see who Jesse was! I sort of recognise that name "Yishay". It is a gorgeous photo though and a lovely sculpture. Is there a reason why they don't polish it up? Would that corrode it?

I think you will find it interesting and would suggest you call in and see Jesse if you are ever in the area.
