AERO ANNIVERSARY REMEMBERED

PLAQUES COMMEMORATING THE FIRST NON-STOP TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT. IN 1919, ALCOCK AND BROWN LEFT ST JOHN'S NEWFOUNDLAND ON 14TH JUNE AND LANDED IN CLIFDEN, GALWAY, IRELAND ON 15TH JUNE.
