THE ROMAN BATHS AT BATH
THE ROMANS DEVELOPED THE NATURAL THERMAL SPRINGS AT BATH. THE WATER RISES UP FROM THE EARTH'S CRUST AT THE RATE OF 1,170,000 LITRES (257,364 IMPERIAL GALLONS) A DAY AT A CONSTANT TEMPERATURE OF 46c (114.8f).

  1. That water doesn`t look so appealing. Do people use it or is it just to look at ? Makes for nice photos, however.

    No, the water does't look that appealing but it is very warm. Unfortunately, the baths are prone to algae, which produces this colour and have to be cleaned quite frequently. They used to have Roman Nights at the baths at one time but they are not used now.
