CAERNARVON CASTLE, WALES

IN JULY 1969, CAERNARVON CASTLE WAS THE SITE OF THE INVESTITURE OF PRINCE CHARLES AS PRINCE OF WALES.

  2. What a wonderful place of history. It seems so wet to see the castle surround by water, but I do know why. It just seems swampy. I don't think I have ever seen speed boats moored next to a castle. Thanks for such a great photo.

    Glad you like the photo. For defence purposes, castles usually were built on the water. If not, then a moat would be built around the castle.
